In more recent years, the house has become a popular Hollywood stage set, doubling for Jay Gatsby's home in The Great Gatsby with Robert Redford, a foreign embassy in True Lies starring Arnold Schwartzeneger, and even the White House for Steven Spielberg's Amistad, among others.
